Anyone heard of Andrew Osenga? Didn't think so. I admit, I only discovered him a couple of months ago. You can stream his new album (The Morning) in its entirety HERE. The first two tracks caught my attention and I carried on listening, though I was disappointed to find lots of cheesy lyrics and clichés. Thus, Andrew Osenga was placed in the 'Artists I Have Heard, But Didn't Really Like' list. Only yesterday though, I was reading a Jars of Clay blog, which alerted my attention with the words 'Free Music' in it's title. I read on, only to find that Andrew Osenga had released an acoustic EP, which he was allowing people to download for free. "Can't hurt," I thought, and got right ahead with downloading it. The first track blew me away with the simple but effective guitar picking and vocal harmonies. This little EP is in fact truly fantastic, the only slight let down is "The Ball Game," which is the most cheesy of all tracks. Once uploaded into iTunes, it already has lyrics and artwork up with the files, which is pretty awesome. It also comes with a 'digital booklet,' which is also pretty snazzy. I suggest you get this little 15 minute nugget now and HERE.

I have returned...
Sorry I haven't posted in such a long time, I've had exams which have been holding my blogging down. New post right on it's way!
